An Easy Masculine Birthday Card
I was participating in an online chat with other Stampin’ Up! stampers and we had a great sketch to use! I made two cards, and the one I want to share today is perfect for the male in your life!
This bright card uses a mix of old and new! The cool circular patterns are from a set called Circle Circus. I inked them up in Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse then punched them out with a variety of circle punches (from 1/2″ to 1 1/4″). They are placed on the 7/8″ Natural Cotton Ribbon that has been carried over from the Holiday catalog. This means you can still order this ribbon if you missed it or need more!
The NEW on the card is the delicious striped paper which is from a great set in the Spring Catalog called Print Poetry. This batch of designer series papers is in a stack and measures 4.5″ by 6.5″–perfect for card making! There is a wonderful mix of greens, blues and pinks as well as Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla neutrals. It’s really versatile and I’ll show you a second card made with the same sketch and stack of papers soon!
This is a very simple layout and you can easily make a batch of similar cards to have in your stash! Oh, and I stamped the birthday sentiment one a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock in Gumball Green and used the Perfectly Penned Stamp Set!
Is this a card that appeals to you?
Leave me your thoughts in the comments below!
See you soon,
Diane
