Cute and Easy Gift Bag You Can Make

International Bazaar Gift Bag Side View

I saw this easy-to-make gift bag on a gallery and just had to make one! In my Friday video I will share how easy it is to create, but for now I wanted to call your attention to a few new Stampin’ Up! products to play with!

First, notice that beautifully colored International Bazaar Designer Series Paper. I love the Rich Razzleberry color against the Crumb Cake and Early Espresso of the card stock pieces.

Second, check out this pretty flower I made with Stampin’ Up!’s new 3.5″ Scalloped Tulle Ribbon. This ribbon is in the Holiday Catalog and comes in three elegant colors: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler.

Third, do you see the Early Espresso paper with the embossing folder image–Stampin’ Up!’s new Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (love it!!!)? How did I get two colors on this piece? This is our new Core’dinations card stock. Unlike Stampin’ Up!’s usual card stock with full color saturation throughout the paper, Core’dinations card stock has a “coordinating” lighter core color. Sanding it brings out the contrasting core color. Isn’t it pretty!

You will see more of this special card stock in future projects. You can find Core’dinations in the Holiday Catalog in three colors: Gumball Green, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler. Of course, Stampin’ Up! gives you all the tools you need to have fun with this paper: Sanding Blocks, the paper and a Dust Buddy cloth to pick up the sanding dust!

Here’s another picture of the front of the bag. I just can’t stop loving this project!

The sentiment comes in the From the Heart Stamp Set. This set is full of great quotes! The sparkle on the flower comes from the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spray.

I’ll share how I made the tulle flower in a future blog post. Until then, remember you can order all of these supplies from My Online Store.

See you soon,
Diane
