Happy Father’s Day! I have had the honor of having two fathers who loved me. My Dad, Bryan, is up in Heaven, and my Step-father, Charlie is still here in New England!
I love Stampin’ Up’s new World Spectacular Designer Series Paper! I love the colors and the style (even if I’ve NEVER been a fan of the circus–go figure!). I have also been seeing these cute cards with an origami folded neck tie. I wanted to make one, too, in honor of my two fathers.
I used a 4″ by 4″ piece of World Spectacular DSP, Bashful Blue and Real Red card stock, Midnight Muse Classic Ink (I think every card I’ve made this week uses this ink!) on the Delightful Dozen sentiment, and 3/16″ Metallic Brads. I used the Stripes Textured Embossing Folder, the Apothecary Accents Framelits and a Basics Glimmer Brad for the tie tac.
Here is the link to the origami directions I used to make the tie.
See you soon,
